SAM Linux Desktop - Community Forums

I have been having major problems with system lock ups ,hangs and even getting to the login screen. RPM was reporting more than one version of x-sane gimp. after hours of trying to fix this with RPM and APT i gave up and reinstalled. I'm trying to get evolution reinstalled using synaptic and i'm in dependancy you know where. All repos have been selected and synaptic reloaded.

Hi samerella,

what is exactly your problem? I don't have evolution installed and if I look to the dependencies in smart it is a huge number of progs. So, now you have a running sam 2008? or 2007? which problem do you face?
btw, you need only one repo, never all and that is the SAM-repo, neither chemnitz, ireland or italy. for nonfree choose one of the pclinuxos-repos.
